About Us
A. Cosmos provides uplinks, TVRO & production facilities throughout Japan. We currently operate a fleet of 4 Ku Band DSNGs & 2 flyaway units & can provide both HD & UHD transmissions. We are also able to provide C Band uplinks to satellites including Asia Sat 5 from our fixed earth stations in Yokohama and Ibaraki. Combined with our production capability, this makes us the most versatile and comprehensive uplink provider in Japan.
We have offices and facilities in both Osaka & Tokyo which enables us to deploy our SNGs efficiently anywhere in Japan. We are licensed to uplink to IS-19, Asia Sat 5, SES 12 and Japanese satellites including Superbird C-2 and JCSAT 2-B. Through a close partnership with Sky Perfect JSAT, we are also able to supply fibre connections from Tokyo to both BT Tower and 60 Hudson.

In addition to supplying uplinks, TVRO & fibre connections, services that we offer range from simple one camera stand ups and provision of 4 G backpacks to the supply of multi-camera OB facilities. 2 of the DSNGs within our fleet are equipped with an expandable 4 camera system ideal for compact live production & if the requirement is more extensive we are able to supply dedicated OB vans through partner companies. Over the years, we have provided transmissions & unilateral services for numerous international clients and have extensive experience covering sports, entertainment, corporate events & breaking news.
Events that we have covered include APEC & G5 summits, FIFA World and Club World Cup, Formula 1, Moto GP & the 2019 Rugby World Cup. During the Rugby World Cup, as well as providing facilities and crews for unilateral rights holders, in collaboration with our partners at JSAT, we also equipped & operated a TVRO at the International Broadcast Centre & managed venue contribution for all 48 matches.
